THE Offaly Camogie team will play their first home game in the top flight of the league this Sunday when they welcome Wexford to St Brendan’s Park.

Offaly opened their campaign with a fine draw away to Clare and will be hoping to build on that performance. However Joachim Kelly’s ladies face a tough task as Wexford are the current All Ireland Senior Champions.

The game throws in at 2pm this Sunday and admission is €7 for adults, €5 for OAPs and U-16s are free. This is Offaly’s home game in Division 1 so come out and support the girls.

The Offaly U-16 team have their first match on March 5 against Limerick. Time and venue to be confirmed next week.

Best of luck to Birr Community School camogie team in the Junior All ireland semi final against a Thurles school in Birr on Saturday at 1.30pm.

Congratulations to all the Offaly players who won medals with respective colleges last weekend.
