Five Offaly players have been nominated for Camogie All Stars in the list released today by the Camogie Association

Michaela Morkan, Siobhan Flannery, Lorraine Keena, Elaine Dermody and Tina Hannon are among the 45 players who will be hoping to pick up an All Star when the final 15 is announced at the 10th annual All Stars banquet in Citywest on November 2nd.

A previous All Star winner, Shinrone’s Michaela Morkan is among the nominees in the half-back line while St Rynagh’s Siobhan Flannery, adual star and All Ireland winning captain with the Offaly Ladies Footballers, is nominated in midfield.

Kilcormac/Killoughey’ Lorraine Keena, another member of the Offaly Ladies Football team, is nominated in the half-forward line while Drumcullen’s Elaine Dermody and Naomh Brid’s Tina Hannon are both nominated in the full-forward line.

All Ireland champions Galway have received nine nominations while Kilkenny and Cork have received ten apiece. Beaten semi-finalists Wexford received just three nominations while Clare, who didn’t make the knock-out stages of the championship received six nominations. Derry rounded out the counties receiving nominations with one.
