Bergin blasts 14-man K/K out of sight

BRILLIANT Joe Bergin helped himself to 2-6 from play as Seir Kieran decisively crushed 14-man Kilcormac/Killoughey in a surprisingly one-sided Pat Carroll Cup (Division 1 Hurling League) Final at St Brendan’s Park, Birr on Sunday evening where the surface was in pristine condition despite the inclement weather that prevailed over the weekend.

Seir Kieran 2-20 Kilcormac/Killoughey 1-7

It was Seir Kieran’s first time to win this competition since 2000 and eleven years ago they also contested the delayed county championship final.
