Offaly GAA presents The Fun Game Show Red or Black with a total Prize fund of up to €5000 this Friday night, October 26, at The Tullamore Court Hotel.
This fun game show is sweeping across Europe to large crowds and without doubt the show will be a huge hit this weekend. This is the perfect way to start off your October Bank Holiday weekend with a host of Offaly legends taking part in the event including:
Offaly 82 stars Seamus Darby, Padraig Dunne and John Guinan will form one team, Hurling legends Johnny Dooley, Daithi Regan, Brian Whelehan, John Troy and Jim Troy will also be taking part along with Offaly singing star Simon Casey, Offaly 97 starts Roy Malone, Vinny Claffey and Colm Quinn, Current Offaly Hurling Manager Ollie Baker, Camoige star Michaela Morkan, Offaly Ladies Football Deirdre Brickland-Kearney, Rhode trio Colm Killeen, Paddy ‘Whithie’ Quinn, and Offaly Rover star Oisin Scally, Tullamore’s Paul Rouse, Ken Furlong, Paul Bell, referees Noel Cooney and Tony Carroll and also taking part are Ray Bell, Ronnie Byrne, Sandra Rock, Ciaran Darcy, Damien Geoghegan, Ann Marie Gorman, Carol Ann Gorman, Chris Dwyer, Jimmy Feery, Adrian Foy, Larry Molloy, John Ryan, Tony McCormack, Colin Hughes, Emer Keegan, Joe Bergin, Joe Gallagher, Brian Digan, Dervil Dolan, Ciaran Guinan and Brigid Dooley.
It is sure to be a fantastic night’s entertainment and Offaly GAA are indebted to all our the competitors for taking part. The event will be hosted by our faithful legend and RTE Sunday Game analyst Michael Duignan and the show starts at 8pm in the Tullamore Court Hotel.

20 teams compete in a series of tasks, you in the audience support a red or black team. If your team wins you are into the next round. Loosing means you are out. After 10 tasks there will be 2 members of audience still in live play to compete for prize fund of €5k.
This is the first time this type of show has been staged in Tullamore and is a fun filled evening of entertainment, craic and capers for the audience to both enjoy and participate in from the comfort of their seats. To participate all you have to do is purchase an admission ticket which cost €20 in advance which includes you in the game show and the raffle. On the night there will be a number of tasks to be completed by the teams of volunteers. The tasks will be competitive and the 2 teams in each task will represent Red or Black. The audience will be divided into supporting the Red or Black teams. After each task the winning colour ticket holders will progress into the next round of tasks.
The actual tasks will vary and may include items such as good old fashioned Pitch & Toss, target shooting, stacking turf, carrying water balloons and not to mention ‘doing the ironing’. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
As the rounds progress, there will be only 2 members of the audience left to play the last task for Red or Black and the winner will progress to play the roulette wheel for the substantial cash prize.
This is sure to be one of the best nights of entertainment in Tullamore for some time and will be different than anything done in the past. Everyone is invited to be part of it to mix and mingle for a great night out with a difference
Rules: to participate your admission ticket must be presented 30 min before the first task commences at 8pm. Miss first task and you are out or you must buy back in. Losers of first 3 tasks can buy back into game for a nominal fee. Ticket holders unable to attend on the night may be represented on the night by committee who will facilitate by holding the home players list. These must be notified to ticket seller before 24th of October. Numbers are limited to first in basis.
