All Ireland VS SF ‘A’ Final

Gallen CS 2-11 Clonakilty CC 1-8

Trailing by three points at half-time on a scoreline of 1-4 to 0-4, Gallen dominated the second half scoring 2-7 to just four points for the much fancied Cork side. Gallen left it late however with two quickfire goals in the closing stages.

Aaron McDonagh found the narrowest of gaps at the near post to round off a move he started and soon after Eoghan Lowry kept his calm to find the back of the net to put Gallen in a commanding position. Clonakilty never looked like bridging the gap as Gallen held on for a richly deserved win.
