OFFALY champions Kilcormac/Killoughey will have to wait to find out who they will play in their first Leinster Club Senior Hurling Final after the second semi-final was postponed at the weekend due to a water logged pitch.

Kilkenny champions Ballyhale Shamrocks and Wexford’s Oulart-The Ballagh had been due to play in Wexford Park but before the throw in the pitch was deemed unplayable.

There was standing water in places on the field with the sideline particularly badly affected. Referee Barry Kelly from Westmeath made the call after consulting with both managers.

No new date has been fixed for the game but it is likely to go ahead next weekend.
