New Offaly Senior camogie boss John Troy has the toughest possible start to his campaign this Sunday when his side travel south to play All Ireland Champions Wexford.

It is the first game in Division 1 of the Irish Daily Star League and it will be a real test for an Offaly side fresh from their first season in the top flight in 2011.

Training has been going well for the side as they look to build on the success achieved in recent years.

First up this weekend are the Offaly minors who take to the St Brendan’s Park this Saturday against Meath in the All Ireland B Championship. A win would set up another home game the following weekend but the Royal County will offer strong opposition as they did the previous year and Offaly will have to be on their game if they going to advance.

Fixtures: Irish Daily Star League Division 1: Wexford v Offaly, Sunday, February 26, Enniscorthy 2pm

Minor B All Ireland Championship: Offaly v Meath, St Brendans Park, Birr, Saturday, February 25 2pm. Check Offaly camogie website in case of any change of venues
