The Offaly team to face Kilkenny in the opening round of the Liberity Insurance Senior Camogie Championship in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening has been announced.

The Offaly team to face Kilkenny in the opening round of the Liberity Insurance Senior Camogie Championship in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening has been announced.

It shows two changes from the team that lost out to Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final with Kate Ahearne and Mary Wyer coming into the side with both players making their Senior Championship debuts.

It is Offaly’s first game in Group 2 which also includes Clare, Derry and Tipperary.

This weekend will also see the introduction of the Camogie Association’s new Season Ticket - ‘Cairde Camogie’. It is available to purchase online from tickets.ie, GAA outlets and in-store at Centra & Supervalu outlets. This weekend, the tickets will be on sale in Nowlan Park when Kilkenny face Offaly at 7pm.

‘Cairde Camogie’ costs €40 and allows the purchaser access to all rounds of the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Camogie Championship, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals (Croke Park).
