HELEN O’Dwyer from Edenderry was among a very impresisve list of guests who attended the recent Glittering Gala Cannon Ball at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin.

The much anticipated social event was in aid of Ballymore Eustace Charity Barretstown and was the official launch of Cannonball 2011, Europe’s largest organised road trip which is set to roll with a thunderous roar of 150 super cars once again on September 9 2011. Organised by Kildare Businessman Alan Bannon of AB Signs based in Tougher Business Park with the help of PR1 guru Helen O’Dwyer from Edenderry and Valerie Roe from Naas.

The Cannon Ball was widely anticipated to be the hottest ticket in town and the social event of the season! Suffice to say it didn’t disappoint as gorgeous MC Elaine Crowley from TV3 brought guests through a whirlwind adventure with an escaped convict landing into the middle of the dance floor in a Rolls Royce Phantom, a lady of disrepute, some feathers and plumes, a brush with the law, sultry songstress Patricia Roe, a Sexy Sax and all of the trademark Cannonball antics! Guests included Lord Mayor of Naas Darren Scully, Maynooth Hot spot Mantra owners Daryl and Rebecca Kavanagh with Chris and Elaine Kavanagh, Kildare TV presenter and Miss Ireland Boss Brendan Scully, Former Miss World Rosanna Davison, Wes and Andy Quirke, Style Goddess Celia Holman Lee with her husband Gerry.
