Toyota in Ireland has announced a number of product upgrades across the Aygo, Yaris, Verso-s, Corolla and Avensis ranges, some of their most popular models.
The changes confirm Toyota’s commitment to providing even greater levels of specification and value for money to ensure customers are given the best quality and widest range of choices possible.
In 2013 the Aygo will have reduced CO2 emissions of just 99g, giving the model a very competitive road tax. This figure has been achieved by adopting low rolling resistance tyres, along with altered gear ratios to optimise CO2 performance.
The Aygo Aura and Strata versions have also been upgraded, with the Aura having 14’’ alloy wheels fitted as standard. These upgrades are in addition to features such as Bluetooth and USB connection.
The Strata has received some visual enhancements for the New Year, adding rear privacy glass, a leather steering wheel and new blue interior seat fabric as standard. These changes will keep in line with this model’s dynamic, agile and responsive nature. Aygo prices start from 10,325 Euro.
New Yaris Sport
Toyota is introducing a new grade in their class leading Yaris range for 2013 called Yaris Sport. This new grade will feature 15 inch alloys, front fog lights as well as colour door handle and exterior mirrors.
The Sport grade will also feature chrome font grill trim and rear number plate trim. Yaris Sport prices start from 15,930 Euro.
Verso-S Luna – increased levels of specification
Keeping in line with the Verso-S versatility and comfort Toyota is adding a range of features to the Luna grade, including Skyview panoramic roof and rear privacy glass, cruise control and grey stitching on the steering wheel as well as the gear lever as standard. These are in addition to items such as the Toyota touch and rear view camera.
The Verso-S Luna will also have a name change to Luna SkyView, Starting at just €21,595 the Verso-S Luna SkyView is available with 1.33 petrol manual or Multidrive transmissions.
New Corolla interior
Toyota is enhancing the Corolla interior styling by introducing a beige colour interior on Luna grade which will add further choice for customers to the already popular model. This interior make over will feature Beige ‘Tatami’ seat material, beige lower door trims and door cards, beige lower and middle dash sections, beige carpet and upper door trims with dash top in dark grey as standard.
New alloys for Avensis
Building on the bold and refined exterior design of the current model, the upgraded Avensis will feature a new luxury design alloy wheel. The wheel has a machined finish on the outside surface of the spokes and a dark paint finish on the side of the spokes for high contrast and a fresh new look.
This new 17’’ wheel will be an exclusive feature to the already sophisticated Avensis Luna grade.
