There’s going to be a song and dance all the way on Irish Ferries services to France this summer in what is the 15th season of the highly-popular Wilde Nights cabaret show first performance of which begins on May 19.

At present, final auditions are taking place to choose the cast that will entertain passengers each night through until September on their Ireland-France services from Rosslare to Cherbourg and Roscoff.

Planned is an entertainment programme that promises fun and entertainment for children and adults, and all absolutely free.

For children, the excitement begins as they come on board and are greeted by costumed characters. The fun continues with a treasure hunt on board, a magic show and a kiddies disco.

Elsewhere throughout the vessel, classical music will play in the Merrion Lounge while those enjoying fine dining in the Berneval Restaurant will be served with a menu of popular classics.

In Oscar’s piano bar the resident pianist will entertain late into the evening while strolling musicians will bring their brand of entertainment into every corner of the vessel.

For parents and adults, the entertainment highlight will be the nightly Wilde nights cabaret show. This visually exciting production includes an eclectic mix of West End hits, Celtic spirit, classic ballads and a selection of high-energy dance numbers accompanied by a resident band whose programme continues through to midnight and beyond.
