A NEW system allowing businesses to create a presence on mobile phones was unveiled by one Tullamore based company on Thursday evening as part of its latest offering in website development.

Tullamore’s SitesToGo Internetlab showcased their newly developed mobile website building tool, which allows clients and new customers to access to a mobile version of their site at a packed event in the Central Business Park, Clonminch.

Speaking at the event, Idris Bowen, SitesToGo InternetLab MD, told local business leaders, community focussed organisations and support companies that it is now possible to create and manage mobile versions of their website.

“Positive forward looking companies, who are looking to generate more business and awareness can now generate more traffic to their main site from customers or clients using their mobiles to search online. This increased accessibility will grow their web presence, revenues and business opportunities.

“With this new system, customers will be able to maintain their brand and products on simple effective mobile sites, while easily integrating with their existing data and website systems.”

Liam Walsh, Director of Development for RESPECT and local resident, said there there is a significant opportunity for organisations to reach out of their audiences using mobile ready website and believed that more access will mean more awareness.

Meanwhile, SitestoGo InternetLab will be running and attending workshop and support events for companies and organisations interested in learning more about the new products in the coming weeks.

And as part of this, they will be speaking at a forthcoming Edenderry CUBSNetwork presentation on May 29 next.
