THERE was good news for Edenderry this week with the announcement of 15 new jobs for the town.

Nua Healthcare which provides services across 14 facilities in Kildare and Laois, is expanding its services this summer with the opening of two additional specialist facilities.

This first facility, a Residential Assessment Centre in Edenderry, will employ in excess of 15 people on completion and will cater for up to four children with Autism.

The facility will provide en suite bedrooms, several social rooms and secure play areas. It also boasts a specialist ancillary day activity centre catering for up to eight children. The facility is located on a private site with ample space and has over an acre of secure gardens.

The second Nua Healthcare facility to open this summer is in Kilcullen, Co Kildare with the creation of 25 new jobs.
