Nua Healthcare, a specialist care provider with over 14 facilities in Kildare, Laois and Offaly, is expanding its services by opening several additional specialist Child and Adolescent facilities in Offaly, Wicklow and Kildare, with a fourth facility to open in Clare later in the year.
Nua Healthcare are seeking applications from social care workers, care staff and nurses for the initial 50 job vacancies of which there will be 18 in Offaly, 18 in West Wicklow and 15 in Kildare. The remaining 30 jobs will be created in two phases and each of these will all be in place by the end June 2012.
Nua Healthcare provides crucial specialised residential, respite and day services to individuals from all over Ireland. People who avail of services within Nua Healthcare present with a broad range of diagnosis and challenges, which include Intellectual Disability, Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health issues and Asperger’s Syndrome, amongst others. The organisation currently employs over 180 full time staff.
Speaking about the expansion and job creation, Ed Dunne, CEO of Nua Healthcare said, “We are delighted to be announcing our continued expansion across Ireland and are particularly excited about our new Child and Adolescent service. There is a significant gap in services for Children with complex difficulties in Ireland and this can often result in children being accommodated in inappropriate settings and sometimes overseas. We hope to provide a therapeutic quality driven alternative to what’s out there at the moment.”
Nua Healthcare’s approach is to design a service around each person as opposed to trying to fit the person into an existing service. The organisation is currently recruiting for all positions and any potential candidates should apply by sending a CV and cover letter to email@example.com
