Tullamore ‘Dragons’ running competition for Start Up Businesses

A group of Tullamore Business People will host a Dragons’ Den style competition for new Start-up Businesses in November. Five members of BNI Uibh Fhaili will take on the role of Judges in a competition to select a winning entry who will receive a prize fund of €10,000 in Business Services and products.

A group of Tullamore Business People will host a Dragons’ Den style competition for new Start-up Businesses in November. Five members of BNI Uibh Fhaili will take on the role of Judges in a competition to select a winning entry who will receive a prize fund of €10,000 in Business Services and products.

The competition is open to new and existing Start-up Businesses in the Midlands Area. Entries may be from new Businesses or people with a new Business idea and an entry form can be downloaded from www.bnitullamore.com. Completed entries must be submitted online by Friday, November 4.

A shortlist of five candidates will be selected to present their business at a Business Expo Evening on Wednesday, November 23 in the Tullamore Court Hotel.

The evening will kick off at 6pm with an display by a group of Midlands based businesses of their goods and services followed by presentations by the five shortlisted entrants from 8pm to 9pm. The evening is open and free to all members of the public and will be of particular interest to the Business Community.

The MC’s on the night will be Tullamore auctioneer, John Mollin and architect, Peter Lyons.

There will be a number of special guests interviewed on the night which promises to be an important and informative evening for all business owners.
