Tullamore Community Arts Centre Fundraising Committee has reached the final furlong in the race to sell 2000 tickets to raise €200,000 for the Arts Centre. The €40,000 worth of prizes with first prize of a brand new Nissan Quashqui and other cash prizes are worthy prizes for this epic fundraising event.

Tickets have been sold all around the world from Perth, Australia to Canada with the majority from within our home county. “It’s no mean feat to sell well over 1900 tickets in less than 9 months,” says Paddy Fenning, Chairperson of Tullamore Community Arts Centre Committee, “and it is only due to the hard work and dedication of all of our many team leaders and supporters.”

Tullamore has a long history of supporting such huge projects with the rebuilding of the Church of the Assumption in the 1980s and more recently the Tullamore Swimming Pool Project. Paddy added “We are now planning the draw night itself and we are making plans to host a spectacular evening of entertainment in the Court Hotel on Friday March 30.”

So who will be the first over the finish line? Tickets are still available - as they say if you’re not in you can’t win! For more information on the new Tullamore Community Arts Centre Design check out www.tullamorecommunityartscentre.ie or find us on facebook.
