The attendances were very appreciative of the performance by the cast, making the event one of the best produced by James Lawlor on behalf of Clonbullogue Drama Group.

Andrew Feeney playing the part of Eric Swan held the audience captive with his performance. New recruit Donal Hanley making his first appearance on the Clonbullogue stage was equally impressive as Norman Bassett.

Adding to the hilarity and confusion were Elaine McEvoy playing the part of Linda Swan; MP Kearney playing a professional role as Mr Jenkins, a social welfare officer; Richie Conlon played a distinctive role as Uncle George with Colette Jessop playing the part of the bereavement counsellor Sally Chessington.

Ed Kelly in his second year with the local drama group looked every inch the undertaker; the role of Dr Chapman went to Fergus Flynn; playing a commanding role as the social welfare inspector was Rita Judge and completing the cast was Jennifer Carroll acting the part of Brenda Norman’s fiancée.

Sincere thanks is offered to all those who supported the event especially the back room team and front of house management, the caterers and ticket sellers all of whom contributed to the success of the production.
