The competition is gathering amongst the participants in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing in Tullamore.
The training is intense and the attention to detail is impressive with couples being competitive in their own right there is also an element of competiveness emerging between the Gentlemen versus the Ladies.
There are also strong rumours of private rehearsals taking place during the week as couples try to gain advantage in order to impress the judges on the night of November 16 but they also have to impress the audience as there is also audience voting on the night which will account for half of the overall score.
Tickets for the event are selling very well and each ticket includes an audience voting card. Tickets are on sale from the dancers, Tullamore Court Hotel, the Carers Association and the Opportunity Shop, Kilbride Street. The event is raising much needed funds for the Carers Association and Power4Good, both very worthy beneficiaries of this unique event.
The evening will be filled with nonstop entertainment and will be great night out with friends to support your dancers with cheers and banners on display to encourage them.
The doors open at 7pm on the night and such is the demand for tickets that it seems the show will be sold out in advance. The show will start at 7.45pm and the Master of Ceremonies for the evening is well known Offaly man Seamus Dooley, The Irish Secretary of the National Union of Journalists. Patrons who were lucky enough to be at the show last year will know how important it is to have your tickets in advance and to be in attendance early to get seats as seating is unreserved.
There are still opportunities to sponsor elements of the show including some of the dancers and the costumes. It will be the biggest show of its kind in the midlands this year and a great opportunity to be part of it and support 2 worthy organizations. Strictly Come Dancing is on Friday 16th November in Tullamore Court Hotel. Further information is available from Colm Mc Cabe 087 2700 349.
