Stars come out for Kilcormac St Patrick’s Day Parade

BARACK Obama, Gay Byrne, Bosco, John and Edward, Biddy, Miley, Mrs Brown and a host of Oscar winners were amongst the stars who came out for this year’s Kilcormac St Patrick’s Day Parade.

After a morning of atrocious weather which included torrential downpours which left the streets awash with hailstones, the skies cleared just as the parade was about to start and the sun shone brightly for the hour as the participants made their way down the main street.

As the crowds gathered to line the streets, the parade was lead of by the Mountbolus Pipe Band and they were followed by groups of local children festively dressed with one particularly memorable Transformer amongst them.
