An edition of Midlands 103’s ‘The Parish’ has scooped top honours at the European Epilepsy Journalism Awards.

The programme produced and presented by Kieran Feeney and focused on life with the condition here in the Midlands.

In their decision the judges said the show made a significant contribution to the understanding of Epilepsy and chose it as the overall winner in the radio category.

The entry was supported by both the local branch of Epilepsy Ireland and nationally.
