THREE Tullamore Academy of Music have been honoured with national High Achiever Awards.
Caitlin Minnock from Rahan, Tullamore (Aged 8 - Student of Voice/Singing), Emily Dillon from Athlone (Aged 9 - Student of Piano) and her sister Jennifer Dillon (Aged 7 - Student of Violin) have been chosen out of 45,000 students to receive a ‘Permanent TSB High Achiever Award’ for excellence in musical ability, and for outstanding performance in their recent examinations.
Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) senior examiners revealed the names of the successful students who were chosen from 45,000 students who sat RIAM examinations nationwide. The awards acknowledge the commitment, of students who participate in the Academy’s Local Centre Examination System each year.
In addition to receiving their awards they have been asked to audition for a chance to perform in front of a distinguished group of guests and high profile musicians in a special regional Gala Concert.
