Set in 1987, the plot is one giant cliché and really is just an excuse to link numerous power ballads and rock songs from the 1980s into one show. In some ways it could be called Mamma Mia for soft rock aficianados.

Among the songs featured are: Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Jukebox Hero, I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll, Waiting for a Girl Like You, Wanted Dead or Alive, I Want to Know What Love Is, More than Words, Heaven Isn’t Too Far Away, I Wanna Rock, Pour Some Sugar on Me, Harden Your Heart, Anyway You Want It, Here I Go Again, I Can’t Fight This Feeling, Every Rose Has Its Thorn, We Built This City, Don’t Stop Believing.

Sounds like a fun night out.
