South Korean born child prodigy Young-Choon Park, who played Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 1 with the Seoul Symphony Orchestra aged nine will perform at Birr Theatre & Arts centre this Friday, September 30 at 8pm.
Young-ChoonPark, began studying the piano at the age of four giving her first full recital when she was seven. The young child prodigy studied at the Juilliard School in New York and later gained the highest masters degree at the Hochschule in Munich. She has toured extensively across Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa and the United States.
Programme: Mozart Sonata in B-flat major, KV.333; Beethoven Sonata in F minor op.57 “Appassionata”; Chopin Nocturne in D flat major op.27 No.2, Nocturne in B major op.32 No.1 and Sonata No.3 in B minor op. 58.
