RTE’s Ciaran Mullooly will perform the official opening of the 42nd Birr Antique and Fine Art Fair on Tuesday, August 9 at 2.30pm.
The fair, one of Ireland’s longest running, was first set up by the late Ena Hoctor in 1969, and it boasts a huge range of exquisite pieces and esteemed collectors and experts from the four corners of the world. Also with an array of collectable silver pieces, lamps, porcelain and other fine small pieces,Maureen Sheehan, Nora Lucy, Helen Newcombe, Linda Paine and Bernie Hennessy will be displaying their collections. Joseph Sheehan will be exhibiting a selection of porcelain mirrors and more, whilst Louis Walsh will present a selection of fine paintings.
