Tullamore Amateur Dramatic Society (TADS) are back planning what will most certainly be a tour de force for the coming year.

Tullamore Amateur Dramatic Society (TADS) are back planning what will most certainly be a tour de force for the coming year.

New members were welcomed at the first meeting of the year and plans are already afoot for the Autumn programme which includes participation in the upcoming Barge Festival and a production of Conor McPhearson’s The Weir under the able direction of Frank O’Brien and Fionnuala Corrigan.

TADS is delighted to welcome both of them back and their production is a highly anticipated one. TADS is also planning to stage another big production in the Spring so watch the local papers and Facebook for information on readings and auditions for the upcoming productions.

The Barge Festival promises to be a fun family event and TADS is preparing drama sketches, monologues and rehearsed readings to perform in locations around the town. Keep your eyes peeled for further information.

TADS Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Monday, September 30 at 8.30pm in Hugh Lynch’s and we look forward to seeing all past and present members there as well as people who are interested in joining this year.
