Offaly concert struck by Hurricane Ophelia rescheduled

A unique concert postponed due to Hurricane Ophelia in October is set to finally gets its day in the sun next Tuesday, December 5.

Composer Karen Power has recorded the sound of pollinators in Offaly during 2017 and has composed music using the recordings. The Quiet Music Ensemble will accompany the pollinators.

The performance is at 7.45pm for 8.00pm in the Tullamore Arts Centre Venue. There is no charge but you should book with creativeculture@offalycoco.ie or with heritage@offalycoco.ie

After the concert there will be refreshments provided by Wild Food Mary.

You are guaranteed a very different evening which is funded by Creative Ireland 2017.
