Mixed weather forecast ahead for Offaly for Bank Holiday weekend

THE weather forecast for Offaly up to and including the Bank Holiday weekend is mixed with light showers predicted for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Wednesday (August 1) is expected to bring persistent light rain with temperatures ranging from 11° to 19°.

An improvement is expected on Thursday with similar temperatures but with the rain expected to clear giving way to sunny spells with similar temperatures to Wednesday.

The forecast is for light showers across Friday, Saturday and Sunday with sunny spells and a high of 18° in a light southerly breeze.
