Stars line up for Shannonbridge Music Festival

The Camebert Quartet are bringing their Late Late Show style to Shannonbridge.

ANOTHER stellar cast of musicians is lined up for Shannonbridge’s 8th annual music festival which kicks off this Thursday, June 21.

Highlights will be concerts at the Old Fort with Jack L performing on Thursday June 21 and on Friday June 22 RTE’s Late Late Show house band the Camembert Quartet are doing their funky thing.

Saturday sees the Athlone Choral Society play at the Clonmacnoise Monastic site in the afternoon (free) and Sunday there is lots of fun for families with Johnny the Juggler, The Magilligans, and The Groomsmen at the village green (free).

There are music sessions each night in Killeens and Lukers and the new Riverside Walk will be open at the Fortifications and families are invited to have a stroll on Sunday afternoon.

Shannonbridge Music Festival is one of Offaly’s gems and all are welcome
