Evergreen launch their new EP at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre.

EVERGREEN, fresh out of Lakeland Studios after recording their 4 track EP, will be in Birr Theatre & Arts Centre this Saturday, February 18 to perform and launch their EP.

Evergreen’s EP will be available for FREE at the gig and with tickets at just €8 this is a night not to be missed. Tickets are on sale now from Birr Theatre & Arts Centre 057 91 22911. Also performing on the night will be support acts, Niamh Kenny and Jonny Zero.

Formed in the summer of 2011, Evergreen consists of Noel Brennan (Moate) vocals & guitar, Darren Molloy (Tullamore) vocals & guitar, Oisin Clarke (Birr) bass and Jason Maleney (Ferbane) drums.

An original rock band, the group’s main focus is on writing diverse music which is relevant to them. They hope their music along with their powerful energy on stage will soon put them in a position to progress in the music industry and move on to playing larger shows to a bigger audiences.

“Whilst drawing our inspiration and followers from our home towns around the midlands, Evergreen focus on staying true to themselves and having belief in their music,” said lead singer Noel Brennan.

Evergreen practice throughout the week in Ferbane at Jason’s home studio. “Generally Noel or Darren produce the initial musical idea and bring it to the rest of the band, we then all shape the parts and bring our own style and flair to produce the final song,” remarked bass guitarist, Oisin Clarke.

Evergreen are known for their originality and presence on stage. They always give it 110% and when you see them play you know they really mean every word they sing.

Evergreen were recently added to the line up for this year’s Teen Aware which takes place in Charleville Castle in April where they will play on stage with such acts as Bressie, Mundy and the Kapitols.
