Offaly Macra selects national competition representatives
Michael Buckley (Mr Personality) from Kilcormac/ Killoughey Macra, Emer Dermody (Miss Blue Jeans) from Camcor Macra, Kate Ryan (Miss Macra) from Ferbane/Banagher Macra, Claire Walsh (Queen of the Land) from Tullamore and Raymond Bourke, Chairperson of Offaly Macra .
FERBANE/Banagher Macra held a very successful table quiz in Flynn’s Bar in Banagher on Friday night last.
The two best placed Macra Clubs from the quiz, Shinrone and Tullamore will go forward to the National Finals of the Kerrygold Question Time Quiz which will take place in February.
The table quiz was very successful and a huge thank you to everyone, who generously sponsored spot prizes on the night and to Flynn’s Bar for hosting the event and everybody involved who helped organise it.
The county round interviews for the forthcoming competitions Mr Personality, Miss Blue Jeans, Miss Macra and Queen of the Land also took place on the night.
Well done to all who interviewed for the competitions this year.
