Ofalia House to benefit from darts tournament

A DARTS Tournament is to be run for the benefit of Ofalia House.

“The Tournament is being run in memory of the late Dennis Ludlow who passed away in Ofalia House and whose wish was for some event to be run for the benefit of that Nursing Unit. It is a worthy initiative and deserves full support,” said Cllr Bourke.

Cllr Bourke said that the Committee running the event is putting in a major effort to ensure that it is a success and is asking everyone interested in Darts irrespective of how good or bad they are at that sport to participate in the tournament.

There will also be a major raffle on the night with lots of prizes.

Cllr Bourke said that as a member of the Committee of The Friends of Ofalia House he is glad to that Ofalia House will benefit from the tournament.

He said that the Friends Committee has provided numerous benefits to Ofalia House over the years.
