Lost felines feature in Cat’s Corner
Pippa is looking out for her lost owner or for someone else to play with!
MEET Ivy and Pippa. They are the two young felines featuring in the ‘lost and found’ columns of the Offaly SPCA Cats’ Corner this week.
Ivy was found in Edenderry at Christmas time. She is a very attractive brindle type, aged about 1 year and is in very good condition apart from an injury to her leg which is expected to heal up completely without any need for surgical intervention.
Her friendliness and obvious enjoyment of a cuddle indicate that she has been well used to all the comforts of a good home so no doubt she would welcome a re-union with the family she has lost – or just mislaid! Failing that, her fosterers are convinced that she would settle in very happily with an adoptive family.
Pippa likewise seems to have been well cared for during the first 10 weeks or so of her young life but was in a rather distressed state when she was picked up on the Rahan road, Tullamore on January 12.
The fact that she was wearing a nice collar with eye-catching diamante studs provided another indication that she very likely is being badly missed by an owner somewhere in the Tullamore area. Coincidentally, she too was nursing a minor injury (in her case, to a front paw) but she is not letting it cramp her style. And her foster family are happy to report that there is nothing wrong with her appetite!
Cat lovers interested in making contact with either of the kittens are invited to ‘phone the OSPCA on 086 3785584
