Mass Cards Unsigned Mass cards locally produced handmade cards are now available in the parish. These cards feature photos of the local churches and are well produced. They are available in the sacristies of the churches.

St Patrick's Day Parade

The St Patrick's Day Parade will leave Ardra at 3pm. All floats and entries should be in place 2.30pm so that judges can have a good look at the floats and parents with small children are asked to be vigilant when the floats are going by.

All floats coming from Clonbullogue please go down by Nahana as the cross of Bracknagh will be closed off. As the day might be cold, please wrap up warm!

Bracknagh Golf Society

It was the first outing of 2010 and a large crowed turned up in Castle Barna Golf Club.

It was Davy Walsh's first outing as Captain. Davy thanked everyone for coming and then presented the prizes. Results as follows:Overall :Liam Hartford 50 points. Cat 1:Davy Walsh, 48 points,2nd Peter o' Reilly 42 points. Cat 2:1st Jimmy o' Reilly 39 points, 2nd Colm Moynihan 37 points. Visitors prize:Adrian Broderick. Longest Drive:Mick Cleere. Nearest Pin:Jim O'Neill Pat Walsh.The next outing is Highfield Golf Club on April 10. New members welcome.

The club wish Davy all the best for the year.

Clinic

Cllr John Foley will be attendance on Saturday,March 13 in St Brochans Community hall Bracknagh from 3.15pm to 4.15pm

First Confessions

The children of the First Holy Communion class are making there First Confessions on Thursday March 11 at 7.30pm. The children are asked to be in full uniform

Football training

Football training will be on Sunday morning from 11am to 12pm for boys and girls.

Bracknagh NS

Congratulations to the four pupils from Bracknagh National School who took part in the half time schools game during the Offaly v Roscommon game. Amber Dowling, Conor Malone, Robin Galbraith and Emma Hyland also received a signed certificate to mark the occasion signed by Offaly manager Tom Cribbin and Senior Football captain Karol Slattery.
