Rene Kennedy : Acknowledgement

Kennedy Rene Cork Road, Stradbally, Co. Laois Died 12th March 2012 Rene’s husband Bob, her daughters Caroline, Iris and Jillian, her son Mervyn, along with her extended family, would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with and supported us on our recent sad loss. We really appreciate and thank all our neighbours and friends. A special thank you to our neighbours Paddy and Betty Mortimer for their help and kindness. Thank you to those who called to the house, sent cards, letters, phonecalls, messages of sympathy, floral tributes, and those who provided meals, confectionary and cakes to our home. Extended thank you to those who travelled long distances and especially those who travelled from overseas to attend Rene’s funeral. Thanks to Rev. Olive Donohoe, Yvonne Carter (Diocesan reader), Fr. Jim O’Connell and Archdeacon Murray (Rathdowney) for the lovely funeral service. Also, thank you to those who did readings, and to John Maher and the choir and the organists for the beautiful music and singing. Thanks to the ambulance personnel and the staff at A&E and the Coronary Care Units at Naas General Hospital for their care and attention. A special word of thanks to the nurses at St. Dympna’s Hospital, Carlow for the guard of honour. Thank you to All Occasions Florists, Portlaoise, and to Stradbally Fayre and Napper Tandys, Stradbally. We are very grateful to Anne Comerford and John Lynch, undertakers, for their sensitive, efficient and professional service and we pay tribute to the gravediggers. It is impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
